Stretching 7.7 metres with a recommended 250-350HP, the 770 XL packs the capability of the 800 into a design that’s easier to tow. It’s the best of both worlds — big-boat attitude, trailer-boat freedom. 

Step through the bifold glass doors and into a cabin designed for comfort and practicality. There’s a double diesel cooker and heater, a pull-out drawer fridge, a hot and cold water sink, and a rise-and-fall table that converts to a third berth. Add in the new front-to-back passenger seat, generous dry storage, and it’s clear — this isn’t just a fishing boat, it’s your offshore basecamp. 

Borrowing cues from the flagship 800, the 770 Game Fisher XL now features a recessed anchor well and Seadek as standard across the foredeck, walk-around cabin, and topsides. The 250mm longer cabin makes room for comfortable seating for up to 4 people, and the 2500mm beam keeps the deck open and social for up to eight on board. 

At the helm, there’s space for a 19” sounder, radar mounting options, and a roof console that keeps the sound system and VHF neatly within reach. Sounders, radars, and engines are all owner’s choice — and the Surtees team will help you get it just right. 

Surtees GM Cliff Schick says the upgraded 770 was built to fill a gap in the Aussie market: 

“Everyone loves the 800, but its wider beam limits towing to daylight hours. The new 770 keeps that DNA within a 2.5-metre beam, so it’s towable at night — and now includes the third berth everyone’s been asking for.”
