21st ANNUAL FISHING COMPETITION

In March, we held our 21st Annual Fishing Competition in Whakatane, and it was absolutely epic! With over $104k in prizes and giveaways, 230 anglers and 69 Surtees Boats in attendance, we had an absolute blast. The weather played the game, holding out until the wee hours of Sunday morning, and we had 500 fish submitted and accepted. Thanks to our very generous sponsors, we gave away some awesome prizes over the weekend. A massive thank you to the Whakatane Sport Fishing Club for hosting us again, our incredible sponsors including Garmin, Yamaha, Daiwa, Honda, Dometic, Lusty & Blundell, and HEAPS more, our MCs Scott & Mig from Fishing and Adventure, and Ben Brown from Built to Fish TV for running a great Garmin auction.

The team from Whakatane Coastguard did an incredible job cooking breakfast alongside Honda Marine, and are stoked to know that we have raised $10,450.00  for them over this competition. Well deserved!
