2018 Hirepool Leigh Fishing Competition

This year the 2018 Leigh Fishing Contest is back to raise money for the vital Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and other local causes.

Now in its 15th year the event goes from strength to strength, with nearly $300,000 raised for the rescue helicopter and other emergency services over this time. Last year the event topped 1000 anglers for the first time and we hope to be a regular fixture on your fishing calendar for years to come.

100% of proceeds are donated to the rescue chopper and other Leigh local community causes. In 2017 over $60,000 was raised for these causes thanks to sponsors and generous participants on the day. There is over $70,000 worth of cash & prizes up for grabs at this event and all prizes must go.
